        TRUFFLEicious BELGIAN CHOC TRUFFLES

  • Terms & Conditions
  • Please read our Terms and Conditions carefully before ordering
  • All of the items on the  TRUFFLEicious Chocolate website are handmade and made to order, we do not keep any stock.  The Truffles will require approx. 2 - 3 days preparation time before they can be posted.   It is highly recommended that large corporate and wedding orders are placed at least 14 days in advance to avoid disappointment. There is always the possibility that your order can be delivered to you sooner.   These times are general and we may need longer depending on the size of the order.  Contact us beforehand if you are not sure or have any questions e-mail: jan@avrioart.co.uk or phone 07778 157375

During the busy seasons, in order for all Christmas orders to be delivered on time the cut-off date to place chocolate orders is 17th of December.  For Valentines Day chocolate orders, the cut-off date is the 6th of February.

For all enquiries regarding mail order please email: jan@avrioart.co.uk with subject heading MAIL ORDER.

    Payment

We currently accept payment through PayPal. You can either pay through your PayPal account or use a major debit or credit card through PayPal's payment gateway. Payment can also be made by bank transfer.

When you submit your order on the TRUFFLEicious website you will be taken to the PayPal website where payment details are entered into their own secure site. You may pay here by credit or debit card or with your own PayPal account.  At no time are your card details disclosed to TRUFFLEicious. PayPal accepts most major credit and debit cards.

Before your order can be accepted and your chocolates produced TRUFFLEicious must receive payment -in full- for the requested products. This happens when PayPal sends TRUFFLEicious confirmation that payment has been made.    Once the full amount has been received TRUFFLEicious will email the address you provided on your order, acknowledging receipt of payment and confirming your order and approx delivery date

When your order is ready for dispatch I will email you to let you know your TRUFFLES have been dispatched.  Please note:  Once an order has been confirmed and paid for, it cannot be cancelled. Each order is handmade especially for you.

Delivery There is a set postage and packing charge of £4.50 for all product orders regardless of amount, to a single mailing address. All our orders will be sent via Royal Mail First Class Delivery or through a courier service. All chocolate orders require a signature upon delivery to ensure their secure arrival. All deliveries will be dispatched or delivered on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. This is simply because we do not want your chocolate sitting in a remote warehouse over the weekend. If it is not possible to  accept and sign for the delivery at the address then a calling card will be left  at the address advising of an attempted delivery and include a telephone number  for you to call to arrange a re-delivery or for collection at your local Royal  Mail sorting  office. Should an item be returned because of a failed collection   TRUFFLEicious cannot be held responsible.  Refunds are not possible due to the unknown holding conditions & temperatures that may possibly affect the quality of the chocolate. We will deliver to the address as you entered it on your order form and cannot accept any liability for late or failed delivery if the address you provided is incorrect or incomplete. We regret that we are unable to accept chocolate orders for delivery to an address containing a PO Box number, or from persons placing a chocolate order whose own address contains a PO Box number.

I post my chocolates all over the UK.

We will send you an email confirming when your order has been dispatched. If you do not receive your order 3 days after the dispatch confirmation date, please contact us ASAP, so we can chase up your order with the Royal Mail or courier.

Every effort is taken to transport  TRUFFLEicious products in perfect condition. Please note, though we ensure that all products leave our kitchens in perfect order, we cannot take responsibility for handling by Royal Mail and couriers. Occasionally, there may be instances where we have to delay delivery due to very hot weather. This happens rarely, but during periods of hot weather we have no control over the delivery conditions during transit and there is a risk of your chocolates being ruined.

    Returns Policy

TRUFFLEicious cannot issue refunds on simply unwanted goods due to the perishable nature of the goods on sale. If your chocolate delivery arrives damaged you must advise us within 24 hours of receipt and provide picture to show damaged product to  jan@avrioart.co.uk  once we have responded to your message, goods must be returned within 7 days in mint condition and in the original packaging. We will arrange a replacement chocolate delivery or full refund. The customer is responsible for return postage and you must be able to provide proof of postage when you send it back. We regret that a refund can only be provided for items once we receive them in original condition and packaging.

    Ingredients

TRUFFLEicious uses the finest Belgian chocolate, used by master chocolate makers and pastry chefs the world over. It is made from sustainably grown cocoa beans. I use  Dark, Milk, White Chocolate in varying blends

Dark chocolate min Cocoa solids: 76%
Milk chocolate min Cocoa solids: 33.6%
White chocolate min Cocoa solids: 28%

I do not use edible colours , lustre dusts & sprinkles etc. to decorate my TRUFFLES, as these  contain additives,  preservative and un-natural colouring which is against my ethos.. All additions to my Chocolate Shards are home made using fresh natural ingredients, not commercially produced products.  Many of my Truffles are Gluten & Dairy Free and suitable for vegetarians. All TRUFFLES are * rated in the product list indicating who they are suitable for. If in doubt PLEASE ask. Some TRUFFLES contain alcohol and nuts, again this is *indicated in the product list

My products are made in an environment where nuts are also handled.

Chocolates must be kept a room temperature of 15.c – 18.c. Please don’t store chocolates in the refrigerator, as this will cause the chocolate to develop a bloom. Bloomed chocolate is still safe to eat.
